Those using the HBS Pharmacy Management System can now e-mail electronic orders into DocuTrack. Furthermore, any document or report printable from the HBS system can be sent to DocuTrack allowing these to be entered into a workflow of the pharmacy’s choosing.
E-prescribing is a prescriber's ability to electronically send an accurate, error-free and understandable prescription directly to a pharmacy from the point-of-care. This is done through an automated data-entry process utilizing e-prescribing software and a transmission network which links to participating pharmacies. This functionality can be an important element in improving the safety and quality of patient care.
