Carson City, NV – December 8, 2011 – The latest version of Integra’s workflow and document management product, DocuTrack 5.0, has begun its Limited Production Release (LPR). DocuTrack 5.0 has now been successfully installed in two pharmacies after nearly three years of intensive product design, development and testing. This latest version represents a near complete re-write of the original product and incorporates many technical improvements including:
- New smart-client (no longer reliant on Internet Explorer)
- Completely re-designed user interface with similar look for seamless customer transition
- Free integrated PDF viewer (Adobe Acrobat is no longer required)
Integra’s CEO Kevin Welch says “the net result of these changes is substantially higher application performance, less network utilization, and increased user productivity. Furthermore, in the future Integra will be able to build many new enhancements into DocuTrack that were technically infeasible before. These include integrating a workflow editor and Rx-based workflow.”
To ensure a seamless transition for DocuTrack customers Integra has created a similar look and feel found in past versions of DocuTrack. Workflow, basic layout and tools appear the same but the enhancements and new features are endless. Just a few customer favorites are:
- Ability to have multiple documents open simultaneously in different tabs
- Adjustable column spacing throughout workspace
- Multiple hot keys to navigate through DocuTrack workspace
- Select and move multiple documents at once
- Enhanced annotations including a typewriter tool and stamps
- A back button to quickly access recently edited documents
- Ability to unstaple documents
- New and improved document search
