integra offers new device option for deliverytrack

Carson City, NV — November 3, 2008 – Integra NV, Inc. has partnered with Opticon, Inc., to offer an additional delivery device option in time for the release of DeliveryTrack 1.2. The latest version of Integra’s delivery management solution offers more stability and key features enabling customers to increase efficiency and improve customer service while facilitating more productivity from mobile workers.

Integra initially offered solely the Intermec CN3, a ruggedized handheld device running on Mobile 5. “We have now selected the Opticon H19 as a second device option for DeliveryTrack users,” says DeliveryTrack Product Manager, Raymond van Rooyen. “Both are excellent options and expanding our device portfolio allows us to better meet the individual needs of our varied client base.”

The H19 is a semi-ruggedized device with Wi-Fi, built in GPS and laser barcode scanner, running on Mobile 6. “Many of our customers will find the H19 perfectly suited to their needs,” said van Rooyen. “The additional benefit is that we are able to offer it at a lower price point than the Intermec.”

The Intermec CN3 and the H19 offer prospective customers purchasing options based on operational needs and budget. The CN3 is ruggedized, offers a larger screen for heightened readability and has a full Qwerty keyboard. The H19 offers a slightly faster processer, is still semi-ruggedized and allows for a lower price point.

“Integra’s DeliveryTrack is a great solution and we are very pleased to see Integra choose our hardware platform as a purchasing option for their customers,” said Don Davis, Director of Opticon Mobility Group.  “The Opticon H19 offers users a streamlined form factor without sacrificing durability and it comes at an affordable cost to customers on a budget.”

DeliveryTrack provides electronic signature capture for enhanced compliance and facilitates the automation of a pharmacy’s delivery process. Dispatch can receive immediate delivery verification or en-route status and has access to a comprehensive set of reports, including detailed delivery manifests. Pharmacy delivery costs are significantly reduced through optimized routing, the reduction of excess fuel expenses and overtime pay, while tote scanning eliminates re-delivery issues.

DeliveryTrack 1.3, with an expected availability of late December of this year, will provide an enriched feature set including additional verification check points to ensure accurate deliveries, an enhanced manifest report, advanced driver tracking options, a shipping workspace and improved interface capabilities.
