Anacortes, Washington — March 1, 2010 – The Third Annual Integra User Seminar was very successful with over 130 attendees from 63 pharmacies, 8 exhibiting vendors and 9 staff members in attendance. With this growth, Integra will be looking at 200 to 300 people in 2011.
“We were overwhelmed with this year’s growth and received interest, making us excited for 2011,” said Integra Marketing Manager, Kirsten Koci. “This not only provides invaluable training and instruction for our customers, but is a time for so many of our pharmacies and vendor partners to interact directly and positively with our staff.”
Attending vendors included QS/1 PrimeCare, RNA Helix Pharmacy System, Softwriters FrameworkLTC, Manchac Technologies DOSIS L60, MED-PASS, MedCall, ALMSA and Integra’s DeliveryTrack sales team. Attendees included owners, directors, pharmacy management and supervisory staff, data entry, I.T. and billing officers from the 63 attending pharmacies.
Held in Dallas, TX, this year’s Seminar provided attending customers with additional training, education and information. Courses included best practices, forms, bar-coding, reports, workflow, IT troubleshooting and Pharmacy Information System breakout sessions. Product management gave attendees a look at future versions of both DocuTrack and DeliveryTrack, highlighting new features and capabilities to be included in the near future. One-on-one courses were provided this year to give customers time with an Integra staff member to address pharmacy-specific needs.
“Next year we are considering various course changes to include hands-on labs, customer instructed best practice sessions as well as the possibility of some accredited courses for our attending pharmacists,” said Koci. “We are looking at various locations for 2011.” “As our customers are located all over the U.S., we are trying to select locations that are easily accessible for all of our pharmacies.”
